Pautas (2024)

In 1975, Silvestre Pestana created “Pautas”, a set of 20 graphic works that now belong to the Serralves collection. These works are marked by geometric systems and product of a generation wrapped in a bubble of desire for the revolution of April 25, 1974. Pautas 2024 is a 50-minute audiovisual performance by Supernova Ensemble interpreting the original graphic works. Generative AI is used to break the geometric systems from the collages, identify visual elements and produce motion.
